Manuscript Structure & Formatting
Title: Clear, concise (maximum 30 words), no abbreviations. Should accurately reflect manuscript content.
Author Information: Full names, ORCID iDs (recommended), institutional affiliations, complete contact details. Clearly designate the corresponding author.
Running Title: Shortened version for page headers (maximum 60 characters including spaces).
Keywords: 5-12 specific, searchable terms. Use MeSH terms when applicable to enhance discoverability.
Abstract: Structured abstract (250 words maximum). Include: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions. No citations in abstract.
Main Manuscript Sections

Introduction (≤500 words)
Clearly state research objectives, provide essential background, and articulate hypotheses tested. Focus on what is known and what gap your research addresses.

Materials and Methods
Provide sufficient detail for replication. Include:

  • Study design and setting
  • Participant characteristics and recruitment (with gender/age demographics)
  • Interventions or exposures
  • Outcome measures and assessment tools
  • Statistical analyses with software details
  • Ethics approval and informed consent procedures

Results
Present findings logically and concisely. Use tables and figures to enhance clarity—do not duplicate data. Include appropriate statistical analyses with p-values and confidence intervals where relevant.

Discussion (≤1500 words)
Interpret findings in context of existing literature. Address:

  • Principal findings and their significance
  • Comparison with previous research
  • Strengths and limitations of your study
  • Clinical or public health implications
  • Directions for future research

Conclusion
Concise summary of key findings and their broader significance. Avoid repeating the discussion; focus on practical implications and applications.

Supplementary Sections

Acknowledgments
Recognize all funding sources (grant numbers required). Acknowledge technical or intellectual contributions not warranting authorship. Obtain written permission from all individuals acknowledged.

Author Contributions
Specify each author's contribution using CRediT taxonomy (Conceptualization, Methodology, Investigation, Writing, etc.).

Funding Statement
Declare all financial support. If unfunded, state: "This research received no specific grant from any funding agency."

Conflict of Interest Declaration
Disclose any financial or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research. If none exist, state: "The authors declare no conflicts of interest."

References

Use numerical citation system in order of appearance. List first five authors, then "et al." for additional authors. Authors are responsible for accuracy.

Footnotes: Use sparingly for unpublished data or personal communications. Obtain written permission and provide documentation to editors upon request.

Tables and Figures

Tables: Each table on separate page with descriptive title and legend. Use tables for data requiring precise values; use figures for trends and patterns. Number consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, etc.).

Figures: High-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi) in TIFF, EPS, or high-quality JPEG format. Each figure on separate page with caption below. Ensure all text is legible (≥2mm after reduction). For accepted manuscripts, submit figures as separate files at publication quality.

Abbreviations: Define all abbreviations at first use in text. Limit abbreviations to those improving readability.

Research Ethics & Integrity
Human Research: All studies involving human participants must have ethics committee approval. Include approval number and institution name. Obtain informed consent from all participants. Maintain patient confidentiality—do not include identifying information without explicit written consent.
Animal Research: Comply with ARRIVE guidelines and institutional/national regulations. State ethics approval, animal welfare standards followed, and efforts to minimize suffering. Include species, strain, age, and sex of animals used.

Clinical Trials: Must be registered in recognized public registry (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov) before enrollment of first participant. Include registration number in manuscript.

Data Availability: We encourage data sharing. Include data availability statement describing how readers can access supporting data.

Scientific Integrity: We maintain zero tolerance for plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification. All submissions undergo similarity screening. Violations result in immediate rejection and potential notification to institutions.

Supplemental Materials

Manuscripts must be complete and self-contained. Supplemental materials should enhance but not be essential to understanding. Acceptable supplemental materials:

  • Extended datasets
  • Additional figures or tables
  • Video files or animations
  • Detailed protocols
  • Questionnaires or survey instruments
Supplemental materials undergo peer review. Materials submitted after acceptance will not be published.
